not much has changed around here. i got a new 'hands free' dog walking belt, where you just clip the hand held end of the lead to said belt and then *tah dah* your walking 3 dogs, while drinking a coffee :) new harnesses came, and they are great. the wee one cant back out, and the big girl cant pull has hard. or maybe she can, and i dont notice it as much with her being attached to my waist? middle dog could go leash free if she didnt spook so easy.. but she does. so she too is teathered to the belt, only to trod along beside me.
i have signed up to a local artisan market, to try sell some of my dog beds, then realised that i dont have very many made, so now im in a rush to get them finished. whomp whomp.
middle dog has learned to shake a paw for a treat. that being said, she gives paw/hand shakes away like they are about to expire, so its not like it was hard. tho, she learned an up trick, i say her name and pet up chest and 'up' and she jumps up into my arms <3

dogs are like children.
as i watch the littlest dog running around , i am convinced that even though shes almost 2, shes gone through another growth spurt, she seems taller to me. dispite being able to squish her self under the couch and other items of furneture, she does appear taller to me. i have no doubts in my mind that big dog grew until she was 3, right up until the day she had her spay surgery. this makes me happy, that i have not yet taken the little one in for her spay... i want her to keep growing. that being said, the fact that i can take her just about any where, cause she fits in a purse is also kinda special. the other 2 are harder to sneak in places. no matter her size, she will always be the loudest and mouthiest. just like a kid.
big dog and middle dog are both doing very well. they are both so sweet, and loving. middle dog doesnt have a 'brat side' shes as good as gold, all the time. she comes when called, with all the enthusiasm of someone who just won the lottery. she does as shes told generally, though we are working on 'wait your turn' when its treat time, and sit/stay, i cant blame her though, she gets SO EXCITED. again, the enthusiasm of someone whos just won the lottery. on the other hand, she is calm, and snuggly, and as long as im toughing her, she couldnt care less what im doing to her, i can clean her cuticles, and/or file her nails with an emery board. no fucks given. she just sits/lays there loving every second of being pampered. the other two? not a chance in hell WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TOUCHING MY FEET WOMAN?!?!?!
lol big girls no pull/no backing out harness is currently being custom made, and i am BESIDE my self with excitement!! if she didnt pull like a deranged pitbull, walking all 3 would be a breeze. but she does. honestly. deranged. pitbull. shes nearly pulled my shoulder out of its socket many times, I NEED TO GET TO THAT TREE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW..... even thoough the tree is 10 feet away, and we are heading right for it, and we will get to it in 30 seconds, she wants it NOW. crazy dog. so, with this new harness, and some one on one training i am confident we can correct this problem, and have nice, relaxing, family walkie times.
thats all for now, peace, love, and puppy dog kisses.

tip money and laundry baskets
i really should make an effort to blog more often, its times like this where its been so long, where to start? well, I'm going to start with then most recent things i can think of, one of which inspired me to log in .... spending tip money.
With tattoos, some people recognize that it is, in fact a 'personal serivce' and also that when i charge you say ... $100 for a tattoo, that money isn't all going in my pocket. i get a commission. so, yes, tipping is appreciated. there's plenty a shop out there, with signs in the lobby, things like 'tipping makes it hurt less'. a lot of people don't tip, but those who do, are loved. every once in a while I'll have a good week, where lots of people get tattoos, and a good chunk of them tip. and sometimes, i stash that money away until the end of the week, then take my tip money out to treat myself. its my tips after all. i did this, last week. i decided i was going to Homsense to buy myself some nice things... a little pick me up as February hasn't been good to me. cruising the isles, I'm looking at all sorts of things, kitchen , bathroom, nick knacks ect. i *finally* found round cookie cutters!! WHY THE HELL did i have such a struggle finding round cookie cutters, I'll never know. AND they were on sale, $4.00 !! awesome. they went in the basket. picture frames, candle holders.... then inevitably i wound up in the pet section. i hit the cat stuff first.. nothing really struck my fancy, then, tah dah! the dog stuff. i found the CUTEST little pink dog hoodie, with white polka dots, and a little hood and attached to the hood? Bunny ears!!!!! so clearly that went in the basket for my pickle, who often gets called a bunny because of the way she hop hops around. over to the clearance isle. my favourite isle. an ottoman, its absolutely beautiful, with a little fray on one corner, originally $80.00 now $15. well yeah, i bought it... with the soul purpose of replacing the antique wooden beer crate that beside my bed, giving the dogs a step up onto the bed. now when i smash my foot in the dark, it wont hurt. and a coffee mug, that is giant... with a google eyed dog on it, 'got dog' it reads. $3.00. needless to say, i spent the majority of my tip money on the dogs, and bought my self a coffee mug (with a dog on it) and cookie cutters.
onto laundry baskets. the little one can get SO wound up, at anything and absolutely nothing looking out the window. the other day was no exception to this. i had an empty laundry basket in the living room, and began chasing her around the room with it. i caught her, under it. NOW I'm not mean... she likes a very similar game involving blankets and sweaters. when i realised she was NOT impressed, but rather some what terrified, i quickly released her from under the basket. i felt bad. i thought shed play. now, since then, when shes being a asshole screaming and yelling, all i have to do is ask her, 'do you want to go in the basket?' and she almost immediately stops. once or twice, Ive had to pick up the basket and point it at her. she runs over to the couch and sits down, *QUIETLY* maybe I'm a big jerk , but hey. it works, and that's all that matters really.
